Have you ever looked at the location file that saves on your PC? If so, can you tell me where iTunes saves it?
Thanks
I could be wrong but I think it's bundled within the backups from your iPhone. I've never seen this supposed file so I wouldn't know how to access it specifically. I'm sure someone else here might have some better info on this.

Whilst I realise nobody 'knows' at the minute, does anyone know when XCode required Snow Leopard from? Was it from Snow Leopard's release, or simply when Xcode 4 came into existance?
Xcode 3.2 was released with Mac OS X v10.6 "Snow Leopard" and will not install on any earlier version of Mac OS X.
XCode 4.1 is in beta right now and requires Lion. Presumably it will be required for iOS 5 development too.
You better start planning on getting a Core 2 Duo or later MacBook.

No problem with Snow Leopard here.
What software crashes.
Except I've had the same results on all the machines I've had that ran Snow Leopard.
MacBook Pro 2.33ghz Late 2006
MacBook Pro 13 2.26
Mac Mini 2.26
Mac Mini 2.4
MacBook Pro 2.66
It's been equally problematic on all of them.
Seems to be user problem. You probably have one piece of software that's causing the problem.

What we really need is a Windows Keynote player downloadable for free off of Apple's website. ...Apple could probably throw one together in a day and iWork sales would skyrocket (not to mention the switching potential of the Windows users watching such a beautiful presentation on their piece of crap :D).
yep. that would sell iWork to me. dam uni being MS based.

Don't get me wrong, I really love my Mac, and the aesthetics of it. The hardware is enough for my needs, and overall I would be happy...
Problem is I have had nothing but trouble with SL. Every application I have seems to have crashed at least one point in time. I never really had a problem with Leopard and, Leopard is what convinced me to switch to the Mac OS in the first place. However, now, I'm contemplating switching back to Windows (rather, using BootCamp full time).
It doesn't seem to matter if I use a different hard drive, swap out ram, etc. None of the problems I have are hardware based. It's all software.
I'm really just curious to see how many people feel the same way about Snow Leopard. In fact, the experiences I've had remind me of Windows XP. Nothing really wrong with any of my hardware. It's just none of my software seems stable.
I'm really hoping Lion turns out good though.

I'm trying to put a movie on my website. It's on Quicktime, and I have set it up that when you click on the link, it will open in a new smaller window, with the control bar at the bottom. On a Mac, you click play on the control bar and it plays. I am now proud of myself :)
However,, on a PC it displays an error message (apparently) then plays with sound but a grey screen instead of a picture, even if the viewer has Quicktime. Why is this? And what can I do?
If I have to, I can put a link to a Windows Media file as well, but that would be a bit messy, and the people I would expect to be viewing it should have Quicktime. I just have a feeling something's slightly wrong with the above setup, and you knowledgeable folk will know what's going on.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Perhaps you should try removing the file com.apple.airport.preferences.plist from the folder you find it in. Perhaps some of the preferences are corrupt.
Also, I'd check to make sure the antenna is plugged in correctly. :)
Thanks! How do I check that the antenna is plugged in correctly?

if I remember my stuff (but I could have forgotten A LOT) all higher impedance will do is make it quieter, but that being said is there really that much difference in impedance with headphones? I've got an old pair of AKG K301's and they are similar in volume to the apple earbuds (but obviously lightyears better)

Looking for a video surveillance DVR system manufacturer that makes a product which does not require IE to setup or manage. I run OS X and Linux Mint at home. I searched for previous threads but only found 6 year old topics.
Would like decent day/night video & picture surveillance
Ability to store data off site
Possibly remote viewing on the iPhone
This is for monitoring around the outside of the house. Trying to catch a peeping tom and also have proof if someone breaks in to the house or cars.

Clearly ISO (a measure of film sensitivity), although conceptually similar, is a bit of a misnomer when it comes to digital. Wouldn't a more appropriate term be something like "Gain Factor"?
I would think this would be an easier concept to grasp for newcomers to DSLRs, especially when trying to understand the trade-off between gain and noise.
How can you tell I'm bored today... :)
