Unfortunately, ChangePropertyAction today doesn't allow you access attached properties. I'll add that as something we consider fixing in a future release :)

Restamping is not required. But just make sure you show your new approval notice to IO at POE. Done this couple of years back

Hi,
I applied for fresh EAD I-765 in Jan 2011....it is still in initial review stage.
M on L2 visa (dependant of L1)......and bcoz of some urgent reason ,here onwards i cant stay in US any more.
So,
1. Is there any provision for taking back application of I-765?(means i spent $380 for I-765,so can i get it return?)
Plz ....i need suggestion as early as possible!!

Guys,
I need some advice and your own experiences.
Right now i am with company A(EB3-I, PD:12/2001) and 485 is in progress.
I have another approved I140 with Company B in EB2 category(PD:05/2006) and i did not try to recapture my PD at that time.
My question is, if i interfile company B 140 with Company A 140 would i be able to recapture the EB3 priority date. I do not want to loose the old priority date.
Any pointers or own experiences would be helpful.

My wife was working for a company before. They had filed for her GC. She has an approved I140. She had to convert to H4 because of some legal reasons and could not continue to work for the company. Now she has a valid H4.
She has already been here 7 years on her old H1. Now can she file for a H4-H1 and get a 3 year visa based on an approved 140 ?
The lawyer says that the 3 year extension rule just states that H can be continued beyond 6 years based on approved 140 and so she can go back to a H1...
Anyone here has had a similiar experience ?

Hi Guys:
My wife is out of country from October 2010. She was working on H1B. After birth of our son, she went to India for 6 month vacation. Will there be any issues if she re-enters US using H1B as she is having a job to continue with her employer.
What are all the documents I need to take.
Please advice.

do you get Finger Printing for EAD Renewal ?
do you get Finger Printing / Biometrics for first time applying of AP [Advance Parole]

Hi,
Thanks for my previous response. I am on H1B and between projects. I have an offer to work for a couple of days for a company other than the one holding my H1B. They said they are not gonna report to the IRS as its an hourly job for 2 days and the number of hours are not going to accumulate enough for the IRS. But they need my SSN or tax-payer ID to run their payroll. I am gonna receive my dues as a simple check (like a rebate check with just the total amount showing up & NOT a paystub). Please let me know if I can work for them or not.

I am in little trouble.please help.
I will be graduating in May'07. I am not eligible for OPT. I have a job offer and the company will be applying for my H1 in April. But I cannot start working before October.

Today's news that Indiana Democratic Senator Evan Bayh will be retiring is probably bad news for much of the Democrat's legislative agenda. But when it comes to immigration, this is probably a good news day. Bayh's last vote on comprehensive immigration reform was a bad one. He voted with anti-immigration Senators to filibuster the 2007 version of comprehensive immigration reform and there is little reason to believe his vote in 2010 would be different. Hi,
I'm on H1 on 8th Year Extension,Got a nice offer from a company, which is not large company, but projects they have are very long term projects I applied for 485 long timeback, but did not applied for my spouse , who is on H4 , applied for H1 which will be validated from 1st Oct'06.Can I switch the company now and start using EAD and apply for my spouse when my PD becomes current , or wait with the current employer till I apply for 485.
Need SUggestion.

Or

Hi,
My husband and I work for a large MNC. We have our own L1's. Currently my husband's L1A is under processing. There is a RFE on it.
I want to know if we can change the status for him from L1 to L2 or to H1 without he having to leave the country?
If so what is the process to do it?
Can I apply for his L2 while his L1A is under processing?

I am working on H1B visa from last 3 years with my current employer and they are ready to apply for GC but, I know that for GC in the same position I cannot use the experience gained during past 3 years. But if I apply for GC for the next level (as GC is for future employment) with the current experience and keep working in my current role until my GC is approved, do you guys see any problem with that? GC approval will easily take 4-5 years and during this time I can keep working in my current position and once GC is approved I can switch to the next level which is kind of promotion.
